About us

right to choose!"
The Center for Independent Living of Persons with Disabilities Kragujevac was founded on December 14, 2010.
Guided by the idea that everyone has the right to choose, we represent and advocate for a social approach to disability, we promote the philosophy of independent living for people with disabilities. We strive to provide conditions for independent living of PWDs in the city of Kragujevac in order to contribute to their full participation in the life of the social community.
We realize our mission through
outlined goals
Developing and establishing a personal assistance service in the territory of the city of Kragujevac, as well as testing and promoting new services to support the independent life of PWDs in Kragujevac.
Continuous work on raising awareness of an accessible environment and sensifying the general public of Kragujevac to the various needs of PWDs and promoting the principle of equal opportunities for all.
The Organization
The bodies of the Center are the Assembly, the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board.
The Assembly is the highest governing body of the Center. The assembly consists of all members of the Center. The Executive board is the executive body of the Center that takes care of the implementation of the strategic goals and activities of the Center determined by the Statute and decisions of the Assembly.
Executive Board consists of five members:

The Supervisory Board of the Center consists of three members:
